Hi my name’s Stirling. I help artists discover their true voice and bring their art and careers to the next level. Music is my passion, and I want to pass this excitement on to you.
Nowadays many artists feel lost and disconnected because they believe the narrative of making content and feeding the «social» machinery. In fact, you don’t even need internet to be a successful artist. Successful artists go out and make art.
In my 20 years of producing music the biggest lesson I learned is that what TRULY moves people isn’t always the most polished, most technically performed. No, a lot of times it’s the music that was felt most, when the musicians were in the moment, doing what they love. The art of production is to capture that essence.
Believe me, there’s a niche even for the weirdest music. People listen to noise or watch ASMR videos. That’s the reason I don’t give a fuck if a song is radio friendly or not. Would you prefer a thousand die-hard fans or one million streams on a one-hit wonder song?
Music fans are craving REAL artists they can relate to. More and more young people are starting to collect vinyl and CDs again; some say they want to protect their mental health from the toxic algorithms that way.
If you can identify with my vision and want to bring your music to the next level, I’d be more than happy to sit down with you and discuss your project.

Are you ready to take the next step?
My Process
Don’t worry. We’ll get you there in six simple steps.
1. Preproduction
We start with a pre-production meeting where we listen to your lyrics and beats, discuss the creative direction and plan the further course of the project. This gives us a clear picture before we start production and ensures that you get exactly what you want.
2. The Instrumental
In the first week I create the first version of the instrumental. I usually produce 60-70% to make sure we’re on the right track. You get an update to listen to and I collect your feedback via email or phone. After that, we may do some feedback loops to make changes and implement your adaptations.
3. Recording
At this point, your instrumental arrangements are 90% complete. Now it’s your turn: We’ll record your vocals at my studio or your home studio if we’re working remotely. Learning your lyrics by heart is recommended. It gives you freedom and ease in your flow and saves us studio time. Don’t worry if you’re new to recording, I’ll coach you through the process and give you some exercises to warm up your voice.
4. Editing, Mixing & Mastering
As soon as we have your tracks recorded, I start the final production step: editing, mixing and mastering. The turnaround time is about 1-2 days for each step. I’ll get your feedback and make any necessary revisions. Most clients are satisfied after one round of revisions. After you approve the mix, it’s mastered either by me or another mastering engineer.
5. Publishing & Distribution
If you’re new to the game I’ll help you set yourself up with performance rights organizations and a distribution company so your songs can be found on all platforms. If it’s a fit I also offer distribution on our indie label Smokin Trees.
6. Consulting & Promotion
We’ll develop a custom promo strategy for your release, be it a one-off single or a full vinyl album. I ran a creative design agency for ten years in my past life so i got ya covered.
When the project is finished we’ll wrap it up with a debriefing and hopefully rinse and repeat.
